Bio:

I have been a practicing attorney in the Dallas, Texas area since 1980 and was Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas State Board of Legal Certification from 1985-2020. I worked for a small law firm upon first moving to Dallas, Texas in 1981 and have been a self employed, practicing attorney since 1990. I was fortunate as a young lawyer to work for Barton Bernstein and Lawrence Hochberg who taught me so much about practicing law and being a lawyer. They made it possible for me to step into my own practice in 1990 and be successful.

Bart Bernstein, who passed away in 2020 was even more helpful and supportive after I entered into my own private practice and continued to be a collaborater during his retirement. It was Bart who instilled in me a love of teaching and writing.

I have been fortunate in blending law practice with teaching and writing. It is my desire to continue to do so well into the future.
